The three magical words Care, Share, Give, are edicts in South Asian upbringing and we grow up thinking of others, often before self. This Giving Tuesday, we urge you to LET YOUR GOODNESS FLOW!
Who are the people greatly in need of support? Our programs are looking at these very vulnerable groups:
Elders in the community:
Many live alone or lead isolated lives because of circumstances. For several the outcomes are depression, self-neglect, physical deteriorati.
Families suffering from interpersonal (domestic) violence:
The abuse is rarely visible to society, taking place behind closed doors. The number of adults and children affected is huge; suffering is enormous; solutions are complex.
Children and adolescents with growing up pains:
The stress of living between two cultures, coping with discrimination and performance pressure, alienation from family.

- $1000 funds 8 counseling sessions with a culturally sensitive therapist
