Our Programs

Ashiyanaa supports the South Asian community in the Washington D.C. metro area. We provide case management for survivors of interpersonal (or domestic) violence and seniors, English and job readiness support for immigrants, and campus workshops that promote healthy relationships for students.

How Do We Help?

  • Ashiyanaa has a toll-free, safe, secure, and confidential helpline: 888-417-2742. This is NOT a hotline. For emergencies, please call 911.
  • Helpline calls are answered by the client services manager who responds within one business day. 
  • Personal data and information is secured in a password-protected database accessible by authorized personnel only.
  • A  plan of action is developed to navigate the complex systems that often prove overwhelming.
  • Referrals to other providers to augment our services.
